Welcome to HighSight – creative and innovative aerial filming solutions

How to book

Booking HighSight is easy. Get in touch to discuss your requirements. We can help you storyboard your production and suggest ideas for how best to achieve your goals. This could include both UAV-derived footage and that from other sources such as ground-based.

In order to fly, we will need the landowner’s permission to take off and land. We cannot fly directly over public roads or members of the public. There are also regulations relating to certain areas of Central London and around airports and airfields. We will assess your locations prior to the day to ensure viability. Like all air activities, UAV filming is weather-dependent.

Ensuring safety

Safety is of paramount importance to HighSight. UAVs are controlled digitally to prevent interference. On-board flight controllers use GPS, altimeter and compass to autonomously stay in position – even in winds up to 20 knots. The controller also allows the UAV to return to base and land automatically in the event of a low battery or loss of control signal.

We are licensed to fly commercially in the UK by the CAA and we hold professional and public liability insurance for up to £5 million. For every location where we need to fly, we produce a safety document that covers airspace restrictions, public access management and all other safety factors as laid out in out flight manual. During operations we also always have a NEBOSH-qualified health and safety advisor present.
